Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about our consultation process and advisory model

Is PI DELTA registered with SEBI?

Yes, PI DELTA is a SEBI-registered investment advisor (Reg. No. INA000020721). Our registration ensures compliance with regulatory standards and provides you with the assurance that your investments are guided by qualified professionals under regulatory oversight.

What is your fee structure?

Our fee structure depends on which arm serves you, determined during your initial consultation. Advisory clients pay a fee fixed or as a percentage of AUM outlined at onboarding. For mutual fund distribution, compensation is received from AMCs in accordance with applicable SEBI and AMFI regulations; no direct fee is charged to you. Applicable compensation details are communicated at onboarding.

What is your investment philosophy?

Our philosophy centres on long-term wealth creation through disciplined, research-driven investing. We focus on fundamental analysis, diversification, and risk management while aligning investments with your personal financial goals and time horizon.

What happens in the first meeting?

The first meeting is a comprehensive consultation typically 60–90 minutes where we understand your financial situation, goals, risk tolerance, and constraints. It is completely free with no obligations.

How often do you review my portfolio?

We conduct quarterly portfolio reviews as standard. During each review we assess performance against benchmarks, rebalance if necessary, and discuss any changes in your financial situation. Additional reviews can be scheduled as needed.

Who do you typically work with?

Our clients are primarily professionals and families in their 30s and 40s salaried employees, dual-income households, founders, and business owners navigating growing financial complexity. A meaningful number are ESOP or RSU holders managing equity compensation alongside their broader portfolio. We also work with NRIs who want conflict-free advice on their India investments. What they share is a need for a long-term financial partner, not a product salesperson.

Can you help with ESOP or RSU planning?

Yes. We help professionals think through vesting schedules, tax-efficient exercise strategies, and how to diversify equity compensation into a broader financial plan without concentrating too much risk in a single employer. This is an area where getting the timing and sequencing right can make a material difference to your long-term wealth.

What does fiduciary duty mean?

As a fiduciary, we are legally obligated to act in your best interest at all times prioritising your goals over our profits, disclosing all conflicts of interest, and maintaining the highest standards of transparency.

Do you provide tax optimisation strategies?

Yes. Tax optimisation is integral to our advisory. We analyse your portfolio for tax-efficient opportunities, recommend tax-loss harvesting strategies, and coordinate with your tax advisor to minimise your overall tax liability.

How quickly can I expect a response?

We respond to all enquiries within 24 hours and typically schedule initial consultations within 2–3 business days based on your availability.

Can you provide sample financial plans?

We can discuss sample financial plans during your initial consultation to illustrate our approach and methodology. Your actual plan will always be customised to your unique situation.
